“Delivering Food with Love”- Food Angel Life Education Programme Registration: Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in the “Delivering Food with Love”- Food Angel Life Education Programme.

All applicants and participants of any activities under the “Food Angel Education Programme”, ormaking an application for the above purposes,are deemedto have readand agreed to comply withthese terms and conditions.
1. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all individuals registering to participate in activities organised by Food Angel (“The organiser”), including but not limited to “Foodstep Journey” Experience, “Green Angel” In-school Education Programme, Bespoke Programme, and “Food Angel Jockey Club Food Production Centre” Education Programme.

2. Eligibility
a. Applicants must reach the age of 18. For persons aged under 18, registration must be completed by a legal guardian with written consent.
b. All personal information provided must be correct, accurate, and complete. The organiser reserves the absolute right to disqualify any applicant in the event of false, inaccurate, or incomplete information being provided.

3. Registration and Confirmation
a. Applicants must complete the required registration procedures, including the submission of online or offline forms and any other necessary documentation.
b. Upon successful submission and confirmation of registration, applicants will be notified via email or other designated communication channels.
c. All enrolments will be processed on a “first-come-first-served" basis.The organiser reserves the right to make the final decision on event confirmation.

4. Activity Fees and Payment
a. Certain activities may involve registration fees, with the specific amounts detailed on the respective activity pages.
b. All fees are non-refundable once payment has been made, except in cases where the activity is cancelled by the organiser.

5. Event Rescheduling or Cancellation
a. The organiser reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event and will make every effort to notify applicants in advance.
b. The Organisation retains the right to make the final decision regarding personnel and arrangements for the respective activities.
c. In the event of activity cancellation, the organization will arrange for a refund or rescheduling of the activity at its discretion.

6. Participants’ Responsibilities
a. During the activities, participants must follow the instructions of the staff members. These include but are not limited to safety instructions, arrival time and locations.
b. The Participant agrees to follow the supervision and direction of any employee or personnel during the activities.
c. The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold the Organisation harmless against any damages related to the Participant’s activity. Additionally, the Organisation shall the Participant harmless against any damages related to the Participant’s activities.

7. Personal Data Collection Statement
a. The Organisation’s privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect the personal data you provide when using the Organisation’s education programme platform (including the website and mobile application).
b. By registering to become an Applicant at the Organisation, you signify your agreement to the terms of our privacy policy.

8. Photo and Media Usage Rights
a. The Organisation reserves the right to use any images of the Applicant and the Participant during activities for the purpose of promoting its services, projects or activities. The relevant photos and their master copies will become the assets of the Organisation and to be used in future without any prior notification.
b. If there are any concerns, the applicant should notify the organizer in writing before the event.

9. Force Majeure
The organiser shall not be held liable for any failure to conduct activities as scheduled due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions). In case the activity cannot be held as scheduled due to force majeure (such as natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.), the organiser will not bear any responsibility but will make every effort to arrange remedial measures.

10. Terms Amendment
a. The Organisation may update these terms from time to time. In the case of any significant changes to these terms, we will notify you via email, the website, or the application.
b. After we issue a notification, if you continue to register for the education programme, it indicates your agreement to the revised terms.
c. If you do not agree to these revisions, you may choose to cancel your account or registration at any time.

11. 法律適用與管轄
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the organiser operates. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the organiser’s locality.
